Lord Rama Ashtottarashatanamavali means one hundred and eight (shatanama) names (nama), and Ashtottarashatanamavali stotra is a hymn in praise of Lord Rama by reciting one hundred names of him.
Lord Rama is the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord Rama is said to have taken birth on earth to destroy the evil forces of the era. He is always carrying a bow and arrow which indicates his readiness to destroy evils. He is also called “Shri Ram”.
